BALTIMORE (AP) — Towson has employed Coppin State’s Laura Harper as its new girls’s basketball coach.
Towson introduced the transfer Wednesday. Harper coached Coppin State for 2 years. The Eagles went 15-13 final season for his or her first profitable season since 2013-14.
Harper replaces Diane Richardson, who led Towson to a school-record 24 wins final season earlier than taking up this system at Temple.
Harper received a nationwide championship as a participant at Maryland in 2006. She performed two seasons within the WNBA and three extra abroad in Italy, Turkey and Russia.
