
CHAPTICO, Md. – Two car fires on Sunday night time in St. Mary’s County is below investigation. The fireplace was first found by a close-by neighbor.
At roughly 9:15 p.m., on April 24, firefighters from the seventh District Volunteer Fire Department responded to the car fireplace at 36060 Roosevelt Blvd.
Crews arrived to the scene and located the 2012 Chevrolet Malibu and 2001 Ford F-150 engulfed in flames. Firefighters had the hearth below management in below 10 minutes.
The estimated whole car loss is roughly $20,000.00. No accidents or damages have been reported.
