Sgt. Boatwright calls out Councilman Cohen over incident that incited ‘bullying’

Sgt. Clyde Boatwright referred to as out Councilman Zeke Cohen on the C4 and Bryan Nehman present over his response to a video involving Baltimore City faculty police and a bicyclist on faculty grounds.

On May 22, Cohen retweeted a video of the incident with the next caption:

“I asked BCPSS leadership for a status update on our commitment to becoming a Restorative District. In 2020 OSI published a report on 18 schools that implemented Restorative Practices. They found a 44% reduction in suspensions + vastly improved climate.”


Cohen went on to tweet in regards to the psychological well being of scholars given the COVID-19 pandemic and fascinating with kindness.

On Monday, Boatwright informed C4 and Nehman that the bicyclist was in search of battle and edited a video of a heated change between himself and an officer.

Boatwright mentioned the shares of the video on social media have induced a type of bullying in opposition to the officer concerned and that the incident is below investigation.
