Randy Bachman postpones tour because of ‘health challenges’

TORONTO – Randy Bachman says he’s suspending his upcoming spring live performance tour after “a series of health challenges.”

The former Guess Who and Bachman-Turner Overdrive member was set to play dates in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Ontario in late April and May.

“The past six months have been the hardest of my entire life,” he wrote in a Facebook publish.

“In my heart, soul and mind, I feel fantastic, but physically, I realize I can’t perform at this time and need to postpone.”

His publish didn’t specify his well being points and Bachman’s supervisor declined to supply additional particulars.

Bachman says tickets for the tour will likely be honoured for the as-yet-announced rescheduled exhibits or will be refunded.

In July, Bachman is ready to reunite along with his former Guess Who bandmate Burton Cummings for various exhibits.

Bachman has disclosed some well being points previously, notably a weight acquire that led him to endure gastric bypass surgical procedure in November 2001.
