Princeton standout Meyers transferring to Maryland | Sports activities

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) — Abby Meyers is transferring from Princeton to Maryland because the Terrapins remake their roster for subsequent season.

The Terps introduced the transfer Friday. Meyers, a 6-foot guard who went to highschool in Maryland, performed three seasons at Princeton and received Ivy League participant of the 12 months honors in 2022. She averaged 18.2 factors this previous season.

Maryland misplaced its high two scorers from final season when Angel Reese and Ashley Owusu headed to the switch portal, however the Terps at the moment are including Meyers and South Florida switch Elisa Pinzan. Maryland had already lined up Florida guard Lavender Briggs as a switch as properly.
