Prince Charles, Camilla will go to Canada in May as a part of royal tour – National

Prince Charles and his spouse Camilla will come to Canada as a part of a three-day royal tour in May, Gov. Gen. Mary Simon introduced Monday.

The royal tour will embody stops in Newfoundland and Labrador, the National Capital Region and the Northwest Territories.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall are coming to Canada as a part of The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this 12 months.

“This visit is a chance for us to showcase the evolution of our country, our diverse and inclusive society, as well as the resilience of Indigenous communities,” reads an announcement from the workplace of the Governor General of Canada.

The full itinerary of the 2022 Royal Tour might be revealed “at a later date.”

This would be the nineteenth go to to Canada for The Prince of Wales and the fifth go to for The Duchess of Cornwall.
