Maryland State Police are investigating a deadly crash involving a pedestrian that shut down Interstate 83 south for a number of hours Wednesday morning.
According to Maryland State Police, an individual entered the freeway round Exit 20 at Shawan Road, when he was struck by a tractor-trailer.
The pedestrian, later recognized as Kingdavid Okolo, 17, of Cockeysville, was declared lifeless on the scene, in line with police.
The driver of the tractor-trailer remained on the scene.
No different accidents had been reported in reference to this incident.
