P. G. County Man Sentenced In Illegal Tire Dumping Investigation

BALTIMORE, Md. – Maryland Attorney General Brian E. Frosh introduced that Johnathan Emile Meadows, 40, of Riverdale, pleaded responsible within the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County to littering and unlawful transportation of scrap tires. The Honorable Judge Karen H. Mason sentenced Meadows to at least one yr incarceration all of which was suspended and three years probation. She ordered 100 hours neighborhood service and restitution within the quantity of $17,916.

After receiving complaints of unlawful scrap tire dumping from the proprietor of a business property in Upper Marlboro, the Environmental Crimes Unit of the Attorney General’s Office put in surveillance tools within the secluded space in September of 2020. Over the course of three weeks the tools captured 4 separate cases of Meadows pulling into the placement utilizing a rented field truck and throwing scrap tires into the woods and ravine.
