Judge wants to see Baltimore prosecutor in court over comments made under gag order

The judge in the Keith Davis Jr. case wants to see Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby in court.
Defense attorneys filed a motion last week for Mosby to be held in contempt after they said she made comments regarding the case during a radio interview despite the judge issuing a gag order.
Davis is facing his fifth trial in the 2015 killing of a Pimlico security guard, Kevin Jones. Davis was initially convicted, but the case was overturned twice. Two other trials ended with hung juries.
In the court order, the judge said Mosby will need to show why she should not be held in contempt. That appearance is scheduled for Aug. 12.
