A Greyhound bus was deserted on a California interstate Thursday, inflicting the roadway to close down, the California Highway Patrol mentioned on social media.The bus was deserted on westbound I-80 west of Donner Lake, CHP mentioned. A spokesperson with Greyhound instructed sister station KCRA 3 that the bus was stopped due to a “tire chain issue.” Once the bus was repaired, officers mentioned it was taken to Reno.”Greyhound can confirm the referenced bus became immobile due to an inclement weather tire chain issue. Due to safety concerns, the passengers and driver were transferred to a passing schedule, returning to the original bus after speaking with highway patrol. Once repaired, the bus was then transferred to Reno,” Greyhound’s spokesperson mentioned.
