Fire Breaks Out on Residential Street in Washington

First responders arrived to the scene of a fire that broke out in an apartment building in Washington, DC, on June 21. This footage shows firefighters at the three-story apartment building. No residents were injured in the fire, but 15 were displaced and are receiving assistance from the Red Cross of the National Capital and Greater Chesapeake Region, according to DC Fire and EMS. According to an update posted by the DC Fire and EMS department on Twitter, a dog was rescued from under a bed in a second-floor apartment “with heavy smoke conditions.” Investigators are on the scene working to determine the cause of the fire.
