LUSBY, Md. – This afternoon at roughly 3:24 p.m., hearth and rescue personnel responded to a construction hearth within the 12000 block of Double Tree Lane.
Crews arrived on the scene to seek out the two-story home exhibiting flames from the rear deck. Firefighters searched the house and located one injured occupant with burns. MEDEVAC was requested for the affected person. The affected person was quickly after pronounced deceased on the scene, and the MEDEVAC was canceled.
The hearth stays underneath investigation by the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal.
