Sky News Political Reporter Jonathan Lea says Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese has “wasted” 24 hours of campaigning solely days out from the election.
Mr Albanese flew out of Western Australia from Perth yesterday afternoon and didn’t entrance the National Press Club till after 12:30pm.
“Obviously, it’s part of the Labor leader’s strategy at the moment,” Mr Lea advised Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“Ether he thinks he doesn’t need to campaign or he’s better not campaigning – only the Labor luminaries will know that.”
Mr Lea gave “credit” to Mr Albanese for being the one chief to entrance the National Press Club in the course of the marketing campaign.
